Ishadi Returns Home

Ishadi Amanda, who proudly represented Sri Lanka at the 40th Miss World Married Beauty Pageant in Las Vegas, USA, secured second place and was crowned the 90th champion of the prestigious event. She arrived at Katunayake Airport today with a warm welcome.

The pageant, held on January 30th , featured married beauty queens from 40 countries worldwide. Ishadi Amanda landed at Katunayake Airport at 1:55 AM on Qatar Airways flight QR-658 from Doha. Later, at 9:00 AM, she attended a special reception ceremony organized by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau at the “Silk Route” terminal.

Her family, including her parents, husband, and daughter, who reside in France, were unable to attend, but she was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd. Among those present were National Director Chandimal Jayasinghe, Sri Lankan team coach Rukmal Senanayake, Director of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau Subhashini Perera, Assistant Director Sureshani Pilapitiya, and several other dignitaries and industry professionals who celebrated her remarkable achievement.
