Fifteen year old up and coming Karateka Gold Medalist in Kata and Kumite at the Asia Cup International Open Karate Championship held in 2018 at Anderi Bombay India and School Sports Captain 2021 Rajapaksha Durayalage Isurini Ashinsa Rajapaksha has brought honour and immense glory to the Primary School Kavishiganuwa, Wayamba Royal College and her Country in Karate.

Isurini Ashinsa a karateka par excellenceShe took part in 2015 at the Kenwakai International Karate Championship and won a Silver for Kata and Bronze for Kumite. Same year at the 5 th Indo-Sri Lanka Karate Championship she won a Gold for Kumite and a Silver for Kata and in the National Karate Championship she won a Gold in Kata at the under 13 age group and in the Karate speed power International Championship she grabbed a Gold for Kata and a Bronze for Kumite and in the Kurunegala District Karate Championship she won a Gold for Kata and Silver for Kumite and at the North Western Province Karate Championship she won a Gold for Kata and a Bronze for Kumite and at the Sri Lanka Schools Junior Karate Championship she got a Silver in Kata and a Bronze in Kumite.

Then in 2016 in the under Eight age group at the Kurunegala District Karate Championship she won Gold for Kata and Silver for Kumite and at the NWP Meet she earned a Gold in Kata and a Silver in Kumite and competing in the under 13 age group at the Sub Junior Nationals Karate Championship she won a Gold in Kata and a Bronze in Kumite and in the Funa Kofhi Cup Shotokan Karate Championship she won Golds for Kata and Kumite.

In 2017 her Parents Chaminda Senerath Rajapaksha and Udeni Dhammika made arrangements to admit their daughter to Wayamba Royal College and she participated under 10 age group she won a Gold in Kata and Silver in Kumite. Her first Tournament in 2018 was school Championship and he got Bronze for

Kata and Kumite and in the District Tournament she won a Gold for Kata and a Bronze for Kumite and at the NWP Meet she claimed a Gold for Kata and Silver for Kumite and at the Sri Lanka Nationals a Gold in Kata and a Bronze in Kumite and in the International Goju RYN Karate Japan Shotokan Championship she bagged Golds Kata and Kumite.

 

In 2019 in the under 12 age group at the Independent Karate Challenge Cup she won Gold for both events and at the Indo-Nepal Sri Lanka Karate Championship she obtained Golds for Kata and Kumite and Sri Lanka Do Schools Junior Championship she won a Gold for Kata and a Silver for Kumite.
