IUSF Convener, monk issued arrest warrants

Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage yesterday issued warrants for the arrest of Inter-University Students Federation (IUSF) convenor Wasantha Mudalige and Ven. Rathkarawwe Jinarathana Thera for not being present in Court in connection with a case filed against them by the Fort Police.

The suspects were not present before Court for a case filed by the police against them for organizing an unlawful assembly and causing undue obstruction in 2021.The Magistrate also issued notices on another two suspects to appear before court on the next calling date.
