Jaffna Central and Asoka Vidyalaya declared joint championss

Jaffna Central College and Asoka Vidyalaya Colombo declared joint Champions of the Under 19 division 2 Tier B inter schools limited Overs cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and sponsored by Sri Lanka Cricket yesterday.

Final match ended with no result between Jaffna Central College and Asoka Vidyalaya Colombo at Bandaragama Cricket stadium yesterday. Murali Thison of right arm placement of Jaffna Central College claimed 5 wickets for 30 runs.

Asoka Vidyalaya Colombo: *95 (31.3) (Suwan Mindika 19, Udayantha Abhilasha 15, Murali Thison 5/30, Ranjithkumar Newton 3/21)

Jaffna Central College: 54/3 (6.5) (Ranjithkumar Newton 32, Vidusha Eshan 2/3).
