Jaffna Central meet Vidyaloka, Galle in the final
Jaffna Central College will meet Vidyaloka College Galle in the final of the Under 19 Inter Schools Division Three Tier ‘A’ Cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association (SLSCA) at Nalanda College ground on Saturday.
Jaffna Central College was the group champion of their group ‘F’ in the first round. They beat Skandavarodaya MV Chunnakam, Hindu College Kokuvil, Hindu College Jaffna and St. Patrick’s College Jaffna in the first round.
Jaffna Central College beat Royal College Polonnaruwa in the pre quarter final round. Jaffna Central College beat St. Joseph’s College Wattala in the quarter final. They beat Rajasinghe Central College Hanwella in the semi final.
Vidyaloka College Galle was the group champion of their group ‘J’ in the first round. They beat Debarawewa National School and Wanduramba Central College in the first round. Vidyaloka College Galle beat Badulla Central College in the pre quarter final round. Tthe match ended without a result between Vidyaloka College Galle and Ibbagamuwa Central College. Vidyaloka Galle advanced to the semi finals according to net run rate in the tournament so far. Vidyaloka College Galle beat Methodist High School Moratuwa in the semi final.
Jaffna Central College will be led by B. Inthujan and Pasindu Lakshan will lead Vidyaloka College Galle.
