On behalf of Japanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Sugiyama Akira, Deputy Mission Head Kitamura Toshihiro called on Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa before he left for Tokyo on Wednesday. Kitamura expressed the Mission’s appreciation for the minister’s decision to take part in the Olympics Opening Ceremony and wished the Sri Lankan athletes all the best for the matches ahead.
