Jeyaraj murder case judgement today

Gampaha High Court Judge Sahan Mapa Bandara will deliver the judgement in the former Minister Jeyaraj Fernandopulle assassination case today. 

The Attorney General filed indictments against former LTTE cadres Selvarajah Thirubakaran alias Morris, Thambaih Prakash alias Danush and then Gampaha ASP Senarath Lakshman for killing 16 persons including former Minister Jeyaraj Fernandopulle and attempting to murder 84 others by deploying a suicide bomber at Kanthi Grounds at Weliveriya on April 06, 2008.

A number of individuals including then Gampaha SSP Hector Dharmasiri, then Gampaha SP Dinesh Karunanayake have given evidence.This case was heard before a number of High Court Judges.
