Judge’s resignation: CID asks JSC for related documents

The Criminal Investigation Department has requested the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) yesterday (17) to provide all the documents related to former Mullaitivu District Judge and Magistrate

T. Saravanaraja, including his letter of resignation. The CID has requested these documents for further legal proceedings following the investigation conducted by the Digital Forensic Division of the CID regarding the judge’s sudden resignation, Sources at the CID stated that a report showing the progress of the investigation is to be submitted to the Colomb Chief Magistrate’s Court in the near future.
