Justice Sri Mevan appointed Acting President of Court of Appeal

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed Justice M. Sri Mevan Anthony Edirimannasooriya as the Acting President of the Court of Appeal.

The appointment was made as the current President of the Court of Appeal, President’s Counsel Nalin Rohantha Abeysuriya, is overseas until September 24. 

Justice Edirimannasooriya will oversee the duties of the position during this period.
