Kalmunai Al-Misbah Vidyalaya students to compete at National Youth Chess Championship

The five participants of Al-Misbah Vidyalaya, Kalmunai have brought fame to the school and Kalmunai by qualifying to compete at National Youth Chess Championship. At the under 14 Girls Youth Chess Championship competition held among schools of Ampara District students F.F.Ilama, M.A.F.Ilfa and A.R.F.Anoofa of Kalmunai Al-Misbah Vidyalaya won first, second and third places. Students S.F.Aja Afrin and M.F.Riska of the same school won in under 10 Girls and won first and third places. These winners qualified to contest at National Level.

The Principal M.I.Abdul Razak thanked all who contributed to this remarkable success.

Under – 10.

1st place – S.F.Aja Afrin

3rd place – M.F.Riska.

Under – 14.

1st place – F.F.Ilama.

2nd place – M.A.F.Ilfa.

3rd place – A.R.F.Anoofa.
