Kalmunai High Court Team limited overs Cricket Champs

Kalmunai High Court Cricket Team beat Sammanthurai Bar Association Cricket Team by 27 runs in the final to emerged champions and bagged the ‘Champion Trophy-2023’ of the limited over’s cricket tournament conducted by Sammanthurai Magistrate Court Welfare Society at the Sammanthurai Muslim Central College Play Grounds recently.

Six teams of Ampara District Court Staff participated in a knockout system.

The final match was played between the Kalmunai High Court and Sammanthurai Bar Association Cricket Teams.

Kalmunai High Court Cricket Team scored 63 in their allocated eight overs.

Sammanthurai Bar Association Cricket Team in reply scored 37 runs in their allocated eight overs for losing eight wickets.

Man of the Match was Kalmunai High Court Registrar S.H.S. Hakeemullah and Man of the Series was M.M. Ziyam of Kalmunai High Court team.

Kalmunai District Judge A.M.M.Riyal was the chief guest at the award ceremony and awarded the trophies and prizes to winning teams and players.

Sammanthurai Magistrate T.Karunakaran was the guest of honour. Lawyers Zacky Ismail and M.A.M.Lafir were the special guests.
