Kalmunai Zahira Under-18 team Provincial Badminton champions

The Kalmunai Zahira College Under-18 Badminton Team beat Nintavur Al-Ashraq M.M. Vidyalaya Badminton Team in the final to emerge men’s champions as the Eastern Province Schools Badminton Tournament which was held as part of the Eastern Province Sports Festival-2023, concluded at the Mc Heyzer Indoor Stadium, Trincomalee recently.

The champion Kalmunai Zahira College Under-18 Men’s Badminton team qualified to compete at National level competition which will be conducted by the Education Ministry.

Eastern Province Education Department Physical Education and Sports Unit organized the Provincial School Games. Students from Schools in the Eastern Province from Ampara, Batticaloa and Trincomlee Districts competed in several events.

Kalmunai Zahira College (National School) Principal M.I.M.Jabir and the college community congratulate the winners and their Coaches A.M.Afraj Rila and M.H.M.Musthanzir.
