Kenya High Commissioner for India visits National Chamber

On a fact finding mission to Sri Lanka,Willy Bett, High Commissioner of Kenya in New Delhi visited National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka on 16th February 2023 along with the officials from the High Commission to explore bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Sri Lanka and Kenya.

The delegates were received by National Chamber President Deepal Nelson, Senior Deputy President Mr. Anura Warnakulasooriya.

Other dignitaries who joined the meeting were Chairman of the National Chamber ICT and Enabling Services committee & Honorary Treasurer Chamika L. Godamanna, Chairman of the National Chamber Automobile & Automotive Components committee Sarath Algama, Chairman of the National Chamber Engineering & Construction committee. Kalana Alwis, Chairman of the National Chamber Gem & Jewelry committee Pinsiri Wijepala, Council member/President – National Chamber Youth Forum Dumindu Karunagoda, representatives from Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, Dhanusha Marine Lanka Exports (Pvt) Ltd. and Eswaran Brothers Exports (Pvt) Ltd. together with Bandula Dissanayake, Secretary General/CEO to discuss the opportunities among their respective industries.

It is expected to conduct B2B virtual meetings between the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kenya in the near future.
