A meeting between Korean Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Miyon Lee and Transport, Highways and Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardhana was held at the Transport and Highways Ministry recently.
Several matters were discussed including ways to further develop diplomatic relations between the two countries, to create opportunities for Korean entrepreneurs to invest in Sri Lanka’s transport and highways sector, to utilize modern information technology methods used in Korea for the digitization of the Sri Lankan Railway service and transport and highways sector.
Deputy Operations Officer Jung Sohngyee, Research Officer Byeon Jeonghun, Ministry of Transport and Highways Secretary Priyantha Mayadunne, Sri Lanka Transport Board Chairman Lalith De Alwis, Road Development Authority Director General S. Weerakoon, Railways General Manager W.A. D. S. Gunasinghe and Motor Transport Commissioner General Nishantha Anuruddha were present at the meeting.
