The Indonesian Naval Ship Kri Diponegoro – 365 arrived at the Colombo Port on a formal visit on Thursday (21). The visiting ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with naval traditions.
Kri Diponegoro – 365 is a 90.71m long, IDN Warship Corvette manned by a crew of 120 and the ship is commanded by Commander Wirastyo Haprabu.
During the ship’s stay, its Commanding Officer is expected to call on Commander Western Naval Area as well as Deputy Chief of Staff and Director General Operations.
Apart from that, crew members of the ship will visit some of the tourist attractions in the country during their stay. Meanwhile, the ship is scheduled to depart on Saturday (23).
