Lalkantha ‘ready for armed struggle at any time’

K.D. Lalkantha, an Executive Member of the National People’s Power (NPP), said that as someone who was involved in armed struggles in the past, he is ready to join an armed struggle again at any time, if necessary.

Speaking at an NPP meeting in the Kandy area, he also said that the people of this country have had more experience since 1931 than the people of other countries in Asia regarding the use of voting rights.

He emphasized that in addition to changing Governments through voting, armed struggles were also seen in the history of this country where Governments were tried to be overthrown.
