Landslides Warnings in several areas

The National Building and Research Organization has taken steps to issue early landslides warnings to three districts in the Island, Badulla, Matara and Kegalle.

According to the announcement, advance warnings about landslides have been issued in Haldummulla and Passara areas of Badulla district and Kegalle area of Kegalle district.

Also, early warnings about landslides have been issued to Katapola and Pasgoda Divisional Secretariat Divisions in Matara District.

The building and research organization stated that the landslide warnings are applicable until 4:00 pm today (03 May).
