Sri Lanka National women’s volleyball team with officials
The Sri Lanka volleyball men and women teams will leave for Bangladesh today morning to take part in the Central Asian Championship.
The Sri Lankan contingent comprised 12 men and 12 women spikers with four coaches, two managers and a referee. Lasindu Menthmal Wasanthapriya will be the men’s captain while the women’s team will be captained by Thilini Wasana.
Veteran Cricketer Aravinda de Silva conducted a special workshop for both teams to motivate and to uplift the mental fitness on December 20. He also added his wishes to a successful tourney. The workshops have been organized by the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVF) while president of SLVF Kanchana Jayaratne, Secretary A.S. Nalaka, coaches and the other officials were also attended the workshops.
