‘LaunchPad 2023’ commences on Sept. 16
The second phase of LaunchPad 2023, a novel AIESEC initiative presented by AIESEC in University of Sri Jayewardenepura, will be held on September 16, at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura premises from 9.30 am onwards.
The second phase, ‘Launching your Career’, aims to guide Sri Lankan youth, especially university students and fresh graduates, offering professional insights through distinguished speakers from diverse fields.
The inaugural phase, titled ‘Dare to Dream’, was held on July 27 at the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine in Colombo. LaunchPad is not a conventional seminar; it is an immersive event designed to inspire and nurture young minds. This platform caters to dedicated undergraduates, fresh graduates and ambitious individuals seeking professional growth by providing mentorship, networking, and valuable advice.
The lineup of panel of speakers for the event includes, Bathiya Jayakody Managing Director BNS Productions, Dilupa Pathirana Founder of Barista Coffee Lanka, Dinuka Perera Deputy CEO of LankaPay and Kishan Nanayakkara Managing Director Resus Energy PLC will be the mentors of the event.
The entrance is free and the refreshment will be provided for the participants. Going beyond the typical career guidance events, ‘LaunchPad’ is willing to offer a new programme line up including an interaction.
