Litro Gas to distribute 350,000 gas cylinders over next three days

Litro Gas Lanka has announced plans to distribute 350,000 gas cylinders to the market over the next three days to ensure an uninterrupted supply of domestic gas across the country.

According to state newspaper Dinamina, the company said a vessel named ‘CORINTHIAN’, carrying 3,900 metric tonnes of gas, arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday (22), with unloading operations commencing the same afternoon.

Litro Gas Lanka stated that the arrival of the shipment will enable the company to continue distributing gas cylinders islandwide without interruption, allowing consumers to purchase gas as usual.

The company also assured the public that gas supplies are being maintained at normal levels across the country.

Accordingly, Litro has urged consumers to refrain from unnecessarily stockpiling gas cylinders, emphasising that distribution will continue as usual. (Newswire)
