Lyceum, Wattala emerge under 17 division two champions

Lyceum International School Wattala emerged champion of the Under 17 division Two inter schools cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and sponsored by Sri Lanka Cricket on Saturday.

Lyceum International School Wattala beat Christ King College Ja Ela by 8 wickets in the final played at De Mazenod College ground Kandana

Both schools Lyceum International School Wattala and Christ King College Ja Ela will be promoted to the division one tournament from next season in 2024.

Jagath Senarathne Vice President of Sri Lanka School Cricket Association and Principal of P. De S. Kularatne College Ambalangoda, Rev. Nihal Rodrigo Principal of Christ King College Ja Ela, Mrs. Stella Anthony Principal of Lyceum International School Wattala, Y. Nishantha Kumara Under19 Tournament Secretary of SLSCA and Malik Keerthi U17 Tournament Secretary of SLSCA participated in the awards ceremony.
