Man dies, one injured in Mattakkuliya clash

A person who was injured in a clash between two groups at George Peiris Mawatha, Mattakkuliya on Thursday (24) has died after being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.

The deceased is a 39-year-old man who was working in a concrete workshop located on Ferguson Road, Mattakkuliya.

A 28-year-old resident of Mattakkuliya who was injured in this clash has also been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital for treatment.Mattakkuliya Police said that investigations are being conducted to arrest the people involved in this clash.
