Man shot at in Midigama

Two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire at a person in front of a hotel near the Midigama Junction in Midigama in the Matara district on Wednesday evening, police said.

Following the shooting, the victim was admitted to the Matara Hospital.

The suspects escaped and left their motorcycle near the Midigama Railway Station.

Weligama Police are investigating.
