Man with over 35,000 kgs of refuse tea arrested

The suspect has been handed over to the Modara Police Station for further investigations. The loss to the economy of our country is immense due to this waste tea racket which is reducing the demand in the world market for Ceylon tea, a major foreign exchange earning plantation crop in Sri Lanka.
