March 10 verdict for Wimal’s wife

Colombo Chief Magistrate Buddhika Ragala yesterday fixed dates to deliver its verdict into two cases filed against Shashi Weerawansa, wife of Industries Minister Wimal Weerawansa Accordingly, the case was fixed for March 10 to deliver its verdict.

This is over an incident where Shashi Weerawansa had allegedly obtained two passports including a diplomatic passport by submitting forged documents to the Immigration and Emigration Department.

Shashi Weerawansa was arrested on February, 2015 over the charge of obtaining diplomatic and general passports illegally. She is currently out on bail.
