Market holiday declared by CSE

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) had been informed that the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka would not operate yesterday .

Therefore, the Central Depository System (CDS) of the CSE is unable to complete the fund settlement and the securities settlement falling on May 10, 2022 as per the DVP settlement mechanism. In the circumstances, the CSE declared yesterday as a market holiday due to the aforesaid operational reasons. Accordingly, market was closed yesterday
