‘Meet the Ambassador’ biz forum on May 11

Ambassador of Indonesia to Sri Lanka, Dewi Gustina Tobing will be the guest speaker at the session on ‘Bilateral Trade between Sri Lanka and Indonesia’ on May 11 from 2.30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the National Chamber Auditorium, D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo 10.

The participants will get an opportunity to have a close dialogue with the Ambassador of Indonesia. Sri Lankan Ambassador in Indonesia Yasoja Gunasekera is also expected to connect virtually during the event to greet the gathering and to speak briefly.

The overall purpose of this meeting is to discuss the current trade environment, investment opportunities/ services, policies and other important information with the view to promoting and strengthening bilateral trade and investment between Sri Lanka and Indonesia.

Coconut (copra), palm kernel or babassu oil, articles of iron and steel, tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes, smoked sheet rubber, paper and paperboard, portland cement, petroleum oils, miscellaneous chemical products, reception apparatus for television, body parts for the vehicles, pharmaceutical products, plastics and articles thereof, natural rubber, organic chemicals, knitted or crocheted fabrics, fertiliser, nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances, miscellaneous edible preparations, tanning or dyeing extracts, man-made staple fibres, printed books, newspapers, pictures and other products.
