Mercantile Volleyball Championship from September 9

Mercantile Volleyball Championship for Men and Women 2023 first stage is scheduled to commence on September 9 and 10 at the MAS Holdings Fabric Park Sports Complex Athena indoor stadium. The main intention is to improve the standard of the National Sport from which the organizers hope to select the best to reach national level. The Championship will be handled by Deputy General Manager NAS Holdings Chandana Bandara.

According to him all firms registered with the Mercantile Volleyball Association are eligible to forward their registration form before August 31.

The Championship will be played under three As Super League, Championship and ‘A’ Division. The final stage is set to be played at the National Youth Services Council indoor stadium, Maharagama for which dates are yet to be announced. The Best man player is to receive Rs. 150,000 and an Award while the Best Woman Player s Rs. 100,000 and an Award.
