Minister Alles wants CID probe into Nagamuwa’s utterances

Public Security Minister Tiran Alles yesterday made a complaint in connection with the statement made by Duminda Nagamuwa of the Frontline Socialist Party yesterday. Nagamuwa had stated that the Public Security Minister Duminda Nagamuwa together with the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna had invested money in an island in Europe at a press conference held on August 12.Minister Alles in his complaint to the CID had sought a full scale investigation into this statement.

Alles said that he has always given orders to authorities concerned to enforce the law against any wrongdoer irrespective of his or her status in society and expect that law will be enforced without any bias in this instance too. The Minister is of the view that the people eager to know the veracity of this type of statements soon.
