Minister calls for investigation regarding those who leaked information on ‘sugar tax’

It is questionable how the information to outsiders regarding the increase in the import tax on sugar was leaked even before the proposal was presented to the Cabinet.
Therefore the Labour and Foreign Employment Minister Manusha Nanayakkara has called for an investigation.

Minister also said that, only Sri Lanka Customs officials were aware of the tax revision.
