Ministry of Electricity and CEB to conduct investigation into island-wide power outage

State Minister of Power and Energy Indika Anuruddha today (10) said in Parliament that an impartial internal investigation will be conducted on Satruday’s island-wide electricity blackout.

The State Minister also said that the Electricity Board and the Ministry of Electricity will jointly conduct this internal investigation.

The Minister of State said this while replying to the question asked by the Leader of the Opposition regarding the power cut.
