Ministry to set up a task force to study effects of chemical fertilizers on human body

The Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Health have taken steps to set up a task force to study and report on the adverse effects of the use of chemical fertilizers and chemical pesticides on the human body.

 

Accordingly, it was decided at a meeting held at the Ministry of Health yesterday (15) with the participation of the Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage and the Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella to form this force within a week under the chairmanship of the Director General of Health Services.
