Miyuru scores third ton for D. S. Senanayake College

D. S. Senanayake College Colombo, Isipathana College Colombo and St. Peter’s College Bamabalpitiya advanced to the pre quarter final round of the Under 13 division 1 inter schools cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association with the sponsorship by Sri Lanka Cricket yesterday.

Miyuru Bandara right hand opener of D. S. Senanayake College Colombo made his third century in this season. Miyuru Bandara scored 119 runs in 100 deliveries with 17 boundaries and 2 sixes against Lyceum International School Wattala. Haamid Afdhal of D. S. Senanayake College Colombo showed good all-round performances against Lyceum International School Wattala. St. Peter’s College Bamabalpitiya won by bonus points against St. Benedict’s College Kotahena.

Methuka Gunaratne, right hander of St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiya scored unbeaten 113 runs in 87 balls with 11 boundaries and 3 sixes. D. S. Senanayake College Colombo won on first innings against Lyceum International School Wattala and Isipathana College Colombo won on first innings against Tissa Central College Kalutara.
