The Sri Lanka Army began its mobile vaccination drive under the National Vaccination Programme launched on the directive of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa after a brief ceremony at the Army Headquarters in Sri Jayawardhanapura with the participation of the Head of the National Operation Centre for the Prevention of Covid-19 Outbreak, Army Commander, General Shavendra Silva.
