Monks continue protest outside Presidential Secretariat

A group of Buddhist monks continues to remain outside the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo on Friday (Oct. 16), as a protest that began on Thursday evening enters its second day.

The monks are currently occupying the pavement on the opposite side of Galle Road, away from the Presidential Secretariat.

The protest began on Thursday, demanding the release of Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera. (Newswire)
