Moratuwa claim University netball crown

Moratuwa University created history when they emerged champions for the first time at the 2022 Sri Lanka Inter-University Netball Tournament held at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura Grounds.

A total of 16 universities participated in this tournament, which was conducted by the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in collaboration with the Sri Lanka University Sports Association.

The champion Moratuwa University Team edged out the Colombo University Team 40-39 in a thrilling final encounter.

Meanwhile, Sri Jayewardenepura University secured third place in the tournament.
