Moratuwa University claim baseball title

The University of Moratuwa emerged champions of the baseball event at the 2022 Inter-University Baseball Championship held at the Rajarata University Grounds in Mihintale.

The University of Moratuwa had the better of Peradeniya University in the final of this tournament, where a total of 16 government universities participated.

Meanwhile, the University of Moratuwa have emerged champions in three events of the Inter-University Games including baseball, netball and table tennis while they were the runners-up in two other events – cricket and carrom.
