MP Ali Sabri Raheem detained by customs

Puttalam District Member of Parliament Ali Sabri Rahim has been taken into custody by Sri Lanka Customs for possession of undeclared gold.

It is reported that the MP was caught along with 3.5 kg of gold at Katunayake Airport today (23).

According to sources, the MP was detained by the customs when he arrived in Sri Lanka from the Middle East.
