MP Dilan Perera’s vehicle involved in accident on expressway

MP Dilan Perera’s vehicle was involved in a minor accident on the Southern Expressway from Colombo proceeding towards Matara today, the police said.

The accident occurred around 3 p.m. when Perera’s vehicle suddenly veered off the road and collided with the safety fence of the Expressway at the 28.1 km post. A person travelling in the vehicle suffered a minor injury and was admitted to the Nagoda Hospital. The MP was unharmed, police said.
