MP Manusha summoned to CID

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) recorded a statement from Samagi Jana Balawegya (SJB) Parliamentarian Manusha Nanayakkara yesterday in relation to an ongoing investigation, police said.

Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said that the CID is currently investigating the deletion of data at the National Medicine Regulatory Authority (NMRA).

Sri Lanka Telecom made a complaint with the CID against Manusha Nanayakkara over a statement he had made recently to the media. The SJB MP arrived at the CID yesterday.
