Meanwhile, 15-year-old Senura Silva also performed well to reach the last 32 in the Men’s Singles event.
Senura defeated Nepal paddler Ama Malla 3-0 and Pakistan’s Mohammad Shah 3-0 and lost to Iran’s Noshad Alamian 0-3.
