Nagamuwa appears at CID after insulting statement

Frontline Socialist Party activist Duminda Nagamuwa appeared before the Criminal Investigation Department yesterday (12) in connection with an investigation by the CID regarding a statement made insulting the Public Security Minister Tiran Alles, through the social media.

Based on a statement made by Duminda Nagamuwa in a press conference, the investigation has been started according to a complaint made by Minister Tiran Alles to the Criminal Investigation Department. Nagamuwa has gone before the Criminal Investigation Department after being summoned by the CID where the officers have also recorded a statement from him.
