National Observance of 79th UN Day Celebration today

The United Nations Association (UNA) of Sri Lanka has organised the National Observance of the 79th United Nations Day Celebration which will be held on Saturday 26, October 2024 at 3.00 p.m. at the Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) Auditorium, Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo 07. It will be held under the patronage of President of the UNASL M.M. Zavahir.

Professor in Pediatrics University of Sri Jayawardenepura Prof. Guwani Liyanage will be the chief guest and Senior Lecturer, Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology Head of the Law School Dr. Chathura Warnasuriya will be the guest of honour.

Diplomat Corps, Teachers and Students of UN Study Circle and UNA members will grace the ceremony, said UNASL Executive Chairman Dr. M.M.M. Rushanudeen.
