National War Heroes Commemoration held

The National War Heroes Commemoration Ceremony took place at the Battaramulla War Heroes Memorial yesterday (19), under the patronage of Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena. Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Defence State Minister Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon, Senior Advisor to the President on National Security and Chief of Presidential Staff Sagala Ratnayake, the Chief of Defence Staff, Commanders of the three Armed Forces, the Inspector General, Director General of Civil Security Department, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka, former Commanders of the three Armed Forces, War Heroes, and members of War Heroes’ families were present.
