Navy wins Open Mixed Doubles title
The Sri Lanka Navy emerged triumphant in the Open Mixed Doubles event of the 77th National Table Tennis Championship, organized by the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka. The tournament was held at the Kandy Municipal Council Indoor Stadium on 16th and 17th December 2023.
The tournament saw 232 table tennis players representing top table tennis clubs in the country and the Sri Lanka Navy was represented by 06 players.
In Open Mixed Doubles, the dynamic duo of Able Seaman NS Ranchagoda and Woman Able Seaman HP Kapugeekiyana from the Navy battled through a thriller to clinch the coveted title, defeating their Army counterparts (3-2).
