NDB honoured with two awards at CMA Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards

NDB’s 2022 Annual Report ‘Responsive Banking’ has clinched two honours at the CMA Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards 2023, an event that unfolded at the Taj Samudra in Colombo.

The awards ceremony was held on October 6, stands as a prominent fixture in the financial and commercial sectors within the country.

The CMA Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards competition, organized annually by the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA Sri Lanka), the country’s national professional management accounting institute established under Act of Parliament No. 23 of 2009, recognized NDB’s exceptional achievements.

NDB secured the coveted title of ‘Winner for the Ten Best Integrated Reports’ spanning all sectors and it also proudly claimed the title of Best Integrated Report in the Banking Sector for the fifth consecutive year.

NDB’s CFO/Vice President, Suvendrini Muthukumarana, emphasised the institution’s unwavering commitment to top-tier corporate reporting, encompassing both financial and non-financial aspects. Expanding on this commitment, she remarked, “We recognise that a diverse array of stakeholders, particularly shareholders and analysts, heavily rely on annual reports to access transparent and precise information.
