Nestlé Lanka appoints Jason Avanceña as MD

Jason Avanceña has been appointed Managing Director of Nestlé Lanka PLC effective 1 October 2021 and will lead Nestlé’s operations in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. He takes over from former Managing Director, Fabrice Cavallin, who moved to Switzerland as part of the regional management team for Asia, Oceania and Africa (AOA), overlooking the Nestlé Nutrition business.

Jason joins Nestlé Lanka with over 24 years of experience with Nestlé in the Philippines, Indonesia, Switzerland, and Pakistan, with a strong background in Dairy and Nutrition. Before taking over the reins at Nestlé Lanka, Jason’s most recent positions were as Business Executive Officer (BEO) for the Nutrition and Dairy businesses in Nestlé Pakistan and Afghanistan.
