New COVID-19 guidelines issued; Weddings allowed, Theatres open

New revised COVID-19 guidelines has been issued due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation with several restrictions.

The inter-provincial travel restrictions have been extended for another 14- days period.

As per the notice, places of worship are allowed to remain open.

Funerals allowed (non COVID-19). Should be held within 24 hours of the release of the body & maximum of 50 persons can participate

Wedding parties are permitted with the seating capacity limited to 25% or maximum 150 participants.

Cinema theatres will be allowed only with 50% of the seating capacity.
