“Next budget to be different from traditional budgets”

The forthcoming budget to be tabled next week would be different from the traditional budgets that were presented earlier, said minister of Housing and construction, Prasanna Ranatunge at the Water’s Edge Christmas Cake Mixing ceremony on Saturday which was attended by a large gathering of local and foreign invitees.

“It will be presented with several novel features and our ministers too have forwarded some proposals to the Ministry of Finance.”

He lso assured that several stalled construction projects will once again be restarted benefitting the ailing constructions industry.
