Niketh, Kenza shine at BSC Swimming Gala

Two promising swimmers Niketh Nakandala and Kenza Nibraz took the individual honours at the 2023 British School in Colombo (BSC) Junior Swimming Gala held at their School Swimming Pool in Colombo recently.

Niketh, representing the Hobbit House made a fine impact in his respective events to claim the Best Swimmer Award in the Boys’ category while Kenza, representing the Unicorn House impressed throughout the meet and took the Best Swimmer Award in the Girls’ Championship.

The other notable performances at this meet came from two promising junior swimmers Anudya Agrawal of Griffin House and Arthreya Sivahar of Unicorn House.

Meanwhile, Hobbit House emerged overall champions as they accumulated a massive 353 points while Griffin House had to be content with the runner-up spot having collected a total of 253 points.

Centaur House finished in third place with a total of 244 points followed by Unicorn House in last place with 234 points.
